One of my favorite ways to enjoy hummus is with sliced avocado and my homemade raw pulp crackers. Quick, easy, nutritious and delicious and perfect for summer!
Ingredients
• 1 can chickpeas
• ¼ cup tahini
• 1 fresh garlic clove
• 1 -2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon Tamari or Braggs
• ¼ – ½ cup water
• ¼ cup olive oil or avocado oil
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 2 cups raw spinach
Directions
Pour the ingredients into a food processor and pulse until well-combined. (Begin with 1/4 cup of water and add more if you’d like a thinner hummus).
Scrape the sides of the food processor bowl and then process until you achieve a creamy consistency.
Serve with your favorite sliced veggies or crackers. Enjoy!
